Power consumption and energy usage of juicers

Juicers are used to extract juice from fruits and vegetables. There are two types of electric juicers quite popular in the market. They are masticating and centrifugal-type juicers. The power consumption and energy usage of juicers can be calculated here. The power consumption of juicers ranges from 200 watts to 1100 watts. A typical juicer consumes 400 watts of power.

Enter the wattage, hours of usage, and cost per kWh. The energy usage calculator for juicers gives you the total energy consumed by them. Also, you can find how much power your juicers consume.

The electricity usage depends on the wattage and the number of hours of usage. The utility company charges you for the total kilowatt-hour of energy you have consumed. Kilowatt-hour is the product of the power consumption of the load and the number of hours of usage.

Power consumption of juicers

A typical juicer consumes 0.4 kWh of energy per hour of usage. That means an hour of usage can cost you 0.048 cents.

Power consumption and energy usage of juicers

Centrifugal juicers consist of motors running at a speed up to 18000 RPM whereas the motors of masticating juicers spin at 100 to 400 RPM.m Masticating juicers are much more expensive than centrifugal juicers.
