Calculation of motor speed when the power is in kilowatts:

    \[    Speed \hspace{1 mm} in \hspace{1 mm} rpm =\frac{ 9549 \times P_k_W }{Torque_(_N_._m_)} \]

Calculation of motor speed when the power is in horsepower:

    \[    Speed \hspace{1 mm} in \hspace{1 mm} rpm =\frac{ 63025 \times P_h_p}{Torque_(_i_n_._l_b_)} \]

    \[    Speed \hspace{1 mm} in \hspace{1 mm} rpm =\frac{ 5252 \times P_h_p}{Torque_(_i_n_._f_t_)} \]

  • Torque N.m: Torque in Newton-meter.
  • PkW : Power in kilowatts.
  • Torque in.lb: Torque in Inch – pounds.
  • Php : Power in horsepower.
  • Torque ft.lb: Torque in Feet – pounds.
